Nordic walking is becoming increasingly popular: This is firstly because the sport is very good for you and was originally conceived as a summer training exercise for cross-country skiers; it’s also because it can be practised at any time of the year and at any age. Exercise is good for the body and soul, especially when combined with clean air, blossoming meadows in spring, the pleasant coolness of the forest in summer, or the last bit of warm sunshine in autumn.
